In Punjab,Lt. Navdeep Singh of 15 MARATHA Light Infantry, who sacrificed his life for the motherland, was cremated with full military honours at his native place Gurdaspur on Monday morning.An army platoon fired in the air and reversed their arms to pay tribute to the martyr.Twenty four year old Lt. Navdeep sacrificed his life fighting militants in Gurez sector in Jammu and Kashmir who were trying to sneak into the Indian territory. Twelve terrorists were gunned down by the Army in this operation on Saturday.
