Lt. Governor of Puducherry Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has participated as Chief Guest in the 12th day of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held on Friday (1st December 2023) at Bahour, Puducherry.<br />''  <br />'' In her address, Lt. Governor said that Prime Minister has been implementing several welfare schemes for the upliftment of rural folk. She said, Prime Minister's guarantee helped the poor in many ways. One can get loan to start self venture under MUDRA scheme without collateral, she added. So far 24 lakh crore rupees were distributed as loan under MUDRA and priority was given to women, Lt. Governor added.<br />''  <br />'' Dr. Soundararajan took pledge of Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharath along with the participants. She distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various welfare schemes. She also visited IEC Van and watched the shortfilms screened in the Van.<br />''  <br />'' Earlier she visited the houses of beneficiaries and interacted with them. One of the beneficiary Shri Rajasekhar said that he was saved from becoming permanently disabled because of Ayushman Bharath Health insurance scheme.
