Lt Governor forwards Puducherry CM's resignation letter to Union Home Ministry for consideration

<span style="color: #222222;">Puducherry Lt Governor Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan has forwarded the resignation letter of Chief Minister V Narayanasamy to the Union Home Ministry for consideration today.<br />''<br />''Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy and his cabinet colleagues resigned , after the government lost the confidence vote sought by him in the Legislative Assembly. Later Chief Minister Narayanasamy tendered his resignation letter to the Lieutenant Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan yesterday.<br />''<br />''The Lieutenant Governor forwarded the letter to the Home Ministry, official sources said. The present total strength of the  assembly is 26, with Congress  9 members ,including speaker, DMK 2 and independent one. Opposition -N R Congress – 7 AIADMK -4, Nominated MLAs  -3. Meanwhile the DMK MLA Venkatesan who resigned his MLA post, temporarily suspended from the party citing anti-party activities.<br />''<br />''The Parliament Secretary to the Chief Minister and Raj Bhavan constituency MLA Mr. Lakshmi Narayanan also sacked the Congress Party.</span><br />
