Fire and Fury Corps General Officer Commanding Lieutenant General PGK Menon flagged off Karakoram to Kargil homage rally from Leh. To commemorate 50th anniversary of 1971 war victory and 22nd Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas Fire and Fury Corps is organising several events.<br />''<b> </b><br />''Fire and Fury Corps in Ladakh is celebrating 50 years of 1971 War Victory  and 22 anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas this year. As the part of celebrations, 14 Corps GoC Lt Gen PGK Menon flagged off bike rally.  In its 1000 KM expedition from Leh to Daulat Beg Oldie (DBO) to Drass, the 15 rider motorcycle rally touches Line of Actual Control, Line of Control and Nubra.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">On its last leg, GoC Lt Gen PGK Menon also joined the rally as rider. Similar rallies from Northern Command also culminate at Drass on 24thJuly to commemorate the 22nd Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26th July.  On the other hand, Fire and Fury also conducting a eight team Siachan Cricket league in Nubra valley to celebrate Swarnim Vijay Varsh. Similarly, painting and drawing competitions held in Army Goodwill Schools in Farona and Pratappur for the students.</span><br />
