<span style="color: #222222;">Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla today said that the peoples' representatives should work for the empowerment of democracy along with enriching the Parliamentary traditions. He was addressing a Special Orientation Programme for newly-elected members of the State Assembly in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The two-day programme is being organised to aprise the newly elected members about the rules and activities of the house. Mr Birla said that UP Legislative Assembly will continue to be a key player in state's democratic and development journey.<br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that in the State Assembly there is an e-Cabinet and started implementing e-Budget two years ago. After e-Vidhan Sabha is implemented it will be ensured to make the entire Assembly  paperless and representatives could take stock of proceedings and activities through a tablet device.  <br />''<br />''Leader of Opposition and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav also addressed the newly-elected members. The Orientation and Training programme has been termed as 'Prabodhan and e- Vidhan Prashikshan'. A team of technical experts from National Informatics Centre will provide training to all the members of State Assembly regarding e-Vidhan programme for the paperless functioning.</span><br />
