Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla today said Indian automobile sector is emerging as a global leader. Addressing the 12th Summit Meeting of Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) in New Delhi, Mr Birla said FADA has worked to strengthen automobile sector in India. He added that FADA's inputs and suggestions on many issues like policy formulation, trade, auto policy, and vehicle registration process have proved beneficial for the development of automobile industry in the country. He appreciated the efforts made by FADA to keep pace with changing technology.<br />'' <br />''Mr Birla stated that India is committed towards reducing carbon emissions. He welcomed the steps being taken by the auto sector, especially FADA, towards this resolution.
