The Lok Sabha Speaker Mrs. Meira Kumar was today confered with the Honorary Doctoral Degree of letters by Sri Padmawati Mahila Viswaviodyalayam. Honouring the speaker with the Doctoral degree , the Registrar of the university Prof. E. Manjuvani described Meira Kumar as an example of women who have climbed the ladder of success by their indomitable spirit and hard work.
