LS, RS adjourned for the day over JPC issue

The JPC demand into 2G spectrum and other scams by the Opposition rocked Parliament for the seventh working day in a row on Monday leading to the adjournment of both houses for the day.The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha were first adjourned till noon and then for the day following pandemonium after laying of papers. While the Opposition persisted with its demand for a probe by the JPC, the ruling party members were seen carrying placards demanding the dismissal of the KarnatakaChief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa over the land scam issue. Our correspondent says that an All Party Meeting has been convened at 1.00 P.M. to break the stalemate. An earlier meeting last week had failed to arrive at an amicable solution.
