LS resumes discussion on Rail Budget 2016-17 post lunch

The Lok Sabha today resumed discussion on Railway Budget 2016-17 post lunch. Participating in the debate, Tariq Anwar of NCP said, the government should introduce more passenger trains to cater to the needs of migrant labourers instead of spending money on Bullet train. He also said, though there is no proposal of fare hike in the budget but the Railways has already increased the fare in all categories indirectly last year.<br/><br/>Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav of RJD drew the attention of Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu towards passenger's amenities in trains and their safety.
