Lok Sabha has rejected Pakistan's National Assembly resolution on Afzal Guru's execution. It passed a resolution condemning Pakistan's interference in India's internal matters.
The resolution was moved by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar in the Lok Sabha today after consulting the leader of the Opposition and other leaders. The resolution reaffirmed that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India.
Meanwhile, cutting across party lines, members in the Rajya Sabha also condemned the Pakistan Parliament resolution . Raising the matter soon after the House met for the day, Leader of the Opposition Arun Jaitley said, the resolution confirms New Delhi's worst fears that the Parliament attack conspiracy was hatched across the border.
Responding to the concerns of members, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Rajiv Shukla said the government is ready for a discussion on New Delhi's foreign policy.
Earlier, the House strongly condemned the deadly attack on a paramilitary camp in Srinagar killing five CRPF personnel on Wednesday.
