The Lok Sabha today paid tribute to the innocent Indian citizens and foreign nationals who were killed in the terrorist attack in Mumbai on November 26, 2008.

As soon as the House met for the day, the Speaker, Mrs. Meira Kumar commended the exemplary role of the security forces and other civilian agencies that prevented the terrorist attack aimed at creating havoc in the country.

She reiterated the nation's resolve to stand united in our fight against terrorism.

The House stood in silence for a while to mark the solemnity of the occasion.
