The Lok Sabha Secretariat today, March 29, issued a notification in this regard after the Kerala High Court stayed the conviction and sentence of Mohammed Faizal on 25th January this year.<br />''<br />''The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and member from Lakshadweep Parliamentary Constituency Mohammed Faizal was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment in a case of attempt to murder with three others on 11th January this year by a local court of Kavaratti under the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. Following the verdict of the court, he was disqualified from the membership of Lok Sabha on 13th January this year.</span><br />
