A Lok Sabha Fellowship Committee has been constituted by Speaker Mrs Meira Kumar to enable better understanding of the functioning of Parliament.

The Committee will be headed by Mr Prem Das Rai, Member of Parliament from Sikkim. The other members of the committee are Mr L Hanumanthaiah and Mr B S Mangal Murty.

The Fellowship Committee will have two full-fledged fellowships, one each in Hindi and English, for writing books. Similarly, there will be a fellowship for writing monographs.
