LS expresses concern over flood and drought situation in country

Cutting across party lines, members in the Lok Sabha today expressed serious concern over the floods and drought situation in the country. They also wanted a set criteria for allocation of funds for dealing with such situations. Initiating the debate, BJP member Navjyot Siddhu suggested that the government should come out with a time-bound policy on water conservation and related issues.
