The Lok Sabha is now discussing a calling attention for inclusion of Bhojpuri and Rajasthani languages in the 8th schedule for the Constitution. Earlier, the House was adjourned till 2 PM amidst uproarious and scenes heated exchanges over the Enemy Property Amendment Bill. The leader of the Opposition Mrs. Sushma Swaraj said that they will allow the Bill only it is discussed in its original form and not along with the amendments listed by the government. This was strongly objected to by the members of the Samajwadi Party and RJD. Mrs Swaraj also wanted the Bill to be referred to the Standing Committee saying that if the government brings amendments it becomes a new Bill. As the ruckus continued and nothing could be heard in the din, the House was adjourned till 2 PM. When the House reassembled, Anant Kumar of the BJP said that the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal was speaking with his back towards the Speaker and the Opposition leader Mrs. Sushma Swaraj while she was speaking. He wanted an apology from the Minister. Mr. Bansal while apologizing said that in the commotion that was going on in the House, he was inadvertently standing in such a position but had no intention to show disrespect. Later Mr. Jaswant Singh of the BJP raised the issue denial of visa to Lt. Gen. B.S. Jaiswal by Chinese authorities.
