Lok Sabha is debating the FDI in retail on the second day today. The voting will take place in the evening. Participating in the debate on Tuesday the opposition urged the government to withdraw the proposal to allow 51 percent FDI in multi-brand retail alleging that it will create massive joblessness. The Government while defending its decision said that the move will help create employment and give boost to medium and small industries.
