The Lok Sabha has been adjourned for the day on Telangana issue. The TDP members who were suspended this morning, did not leave the House during adjournment. They started shouting slogans as the House reassembled at 2 pm, Deputy Speaker Karia Munda directed them to leave the House. But they did not relent, forcing the Chair to adjourn the House for the day.
Earlier, when the House met for the day in the extended session, members from Andhra Pradesh belonging to Congress and TDP trooped into the well protesting against the formation of Telangana. Speaker Meira Kumar had suspended them for five days under the relevant rule of House proceedings.
