The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 22nd April, 2013. As soon as the House reassembled at noon after first adjournment, the DMK and AIADMK members were back in the well raising slogans against the government for its alleged betrayal of Sri Lankan Tamils at the UN Human Rights Council.

Speaker Meira Kumar allowed the laying of papers in the din. In the meantime, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid tabled his statement informing the members that the two Italian marines are coming back to India to face trial.

Earlier, when the House met in the morning, the DMK members trooped into the well displaying placards on the alleged betrayal of Sri Lankan Tamils, forcing the adjournment till noon.
