The Lok Sabha has been adjourned for an hour till Noon with the opposition raising several issues including the Comptroller and Auditor General's report on irregularities in the loan waiver scheme for farmers. As soon as the House assembled for the day, most of the opposition members surged into the well demanding the suspension of the question hour to discuss the issues. Members from Tamil Nadu displayed placards on the insecurity of Tamils in Sri Lanka. Members from West Bengal raised slogans demanded safety for the tribals in the state. The Left Front members continued to demand a roll back in the hike of the petrol and diesel prices. Amidst the din, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House till noon.
