The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 2 p.m. As soon as the House reassembled after two adjournments , the BJP-led Opposition began raising slogans demanding the Home Minister's resignation over his alleged role in the 2G spectrum case . When the uproar continued, the Presiding Officer said the Finance Bill 2012, which is listed for passing today, will be deemed to be passed unless a discussion is allowed by the agitating Members. When this had no effect, the Presiding Officer adjourned the House for a third time .

The Rajya Sabha also witnessed similar scenes which led the adjournment of the house , first for ten minutes and later till noon.
