The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 2.00 PM over the Women's Reservation Bill even as the government assured the House that it will hold consultations before the Bill is introduced in the Lok Sabha.<br/><br/>The leader of the house Mr. Pranab Mukherjee while responding to concerns raised by the SP, RJD and JDU leaders said that all the issues with regard to the Bill can be raised, debated and decided by the House when it comes for discussion.<br/><br/>He said that nothing can be achieved stalling the House. He said that there have been several meetings during the NDA and the first stint of the UPA on the Women's Reservation Bill but there was no consensus on the issue.<br/><br/>He said that various attempts have been made to narrow down divergent views but there was no convergence.<br/><br/>However, dissatisfied with the government's response, members of these parties trooped into the well of the house and started sloganeering.<br/><br/>Earlier, Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav, Mr Sharad Yadav and Mr Lalu Prasad, while reiterating their stand for quota within quota in the Women's reservation bill, said that every body should be taken on board on the issue.<br/><br/>They said that the government should bring in amendment in the bill, which has already been passed by the Rajya Sabha. They were also against the provision for rotation of Lok Sabha seats in the bill. They insisted that all parties should sit together to find a way out.<br/><br/>Earlier, the Speaker, Mrs Meira Kumar, allowed the three leaders to air their views during the question hour.
