The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 2 P.M. following uproar over the land acquisition for a trust in Haryana. The House was first adjourned till noon. When it met after the first adjournment, there was no change in the situation with the opposition BJP members raising the issue amidst slogan shouting. Even after repeated pleas by the Presiding Officer, the noisy scenes continued leading to the adjournment. Earlier, in the morning the BJP members wanted suspension of question hour to raise the issue. The Rajya Sabha also witnessed a brief adjournment till 12 noon after SP and BSP members raised the Bundelkhand issue. They alleged that all central schemes have been clubbed in the package announced by the Centre for the region. A 72.66 crore rupees package was announced recently by the Centre for the development of the region. The Rajya sabha later resumed functioning as the house reassembled after 12 noon.
