The Lok Sabha stands adjourned till 2 pm. The BJP, BSP and Samajwadi Party members forced the adjournments shouting slogans and trooping into the well of the House. The Lok Sabha could not transact any business in its pre-lunch session today as well, with BJP, BSP and Samajwadi Party members disrupting the proceedings. BJP members were demanding execution of Afzal Guru, who masterminded the attack on Parliament while BSP members were seeking the disclosure of the names behind coal block allocations. Members were on their feet, immediately after the House paid homage to those who laid down their lives during the attack on Parliament this day, 11 years ago. Speaker Meira Kumar continued with the Question Hour for some time amidst slogan shouting. But, the agitating members persisted with their demands forcing the Chair to adjourn the House twice, before adjourning it till 2 pm.
