Glowing tributes were paid to former Haryana Chief Minister and sitting member of the Lok Sabha, Mr. Bhajan Lal who passed away on the 3rd June this year. Mr. Bhajan Lal served as a Union Minister and was a Member of the Lok Sabha representing Faridabad and Hisar constituencies.He had also been a Member of the Rajya Sabha and a Member of the Planning Commission. Lok Sabha Speaker Mrs. Kumar recalled the contribution of Bhajan Lal to the public life and his contribution as a Parliamentarian.Tributes were also paid to five other former members of the House- Dharmabhiksham, Sribatcha Digal, Sripal Singh Yadav, L S Tur and Chaturanan Mishra. Members joined the Speaker in conveying condolences to the bereaved families. They stood in silence as a mark of respect to the departed souls.The members also joined the Speaker in expressing their grief and sorrow of the recent tragic rail accidents in the country, Mumbai blasts and terror attacks in Norway.Later, the House was adjourned for the day.
