LPG price hiked by Rs. 16.50 per cylinder

Price of non-subsidised cooking gas (LPG) was today hiked by 16 rupees 50 paise per cylinder.

Indian Oil Corporation said each non-subsidised 14.2 kilogram cooking gas cylinder will now cost 922 rupees 50 paise in Delhi.

It will cost 966 rupees in Kolkata, 949 rupees 50 paise in Mumbai and 924 rupees in Chennai.

The hike was necessitated following surge in prices of international oil due to the ongoing Iraq crisis.

Non-subsidised LPG rates were last month cut by 23 rupees 50 paise per cylinder.
