The low pressure area which has formed over Bay of Bengal has become well marked and persists over west central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal off south Odisha and north Andhra Pradesh coasts. Its upper air circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea level also persists.<br/> <br/>According to the Cyclone Warning Centre in Visakhapatnam under the influence of the well marked low pressure area, rain or thunder showers would occur at many places in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States with isolated heavy falls during the next 48 hours. Strong surface winds prevail during the period along and off the coast of Andhra with speeds reaching 45-50 kmph. <br/><br/>Fishermen are advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea during the 24 hours. North coastal Andhra Pradesh and parts of Telangana have received moderate to heavy rains during the past 24 hours.
