<span style="color: #222222;">The low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal has concentrated into a depression today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Lying centred at about 590 kilometres from east southeast of Paradeep in Odisha, it is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm by tomorrow morning.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">As per the Indian Meteorological Department, it will further deepen into a very severe cyclonic storm during the subsequent 24 hours and likely to cross North Odisha West Bengal coast between Paradeep and the Sagar islands on Wednesday.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports, as a consequence of the probable cyclonic storm, now in the making over the Bay of Bengal, North Odisha districts may experience heavy rain and winds around the landfall time.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The wind speed could be between 155 kilometres to 165 kilometres per hour, gusting up to as high as 185 kilometres per hour, as per the preliminary forecast by the Indian Meteorological Department.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">While the North Odisha coastal districts like Jagatsingpur, Baleshwar, Kendrapada are  likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall around that time, many other coastal, south and interior Odisha districts may also be lashed with cyclone induced rainfall of varying degrees.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile the Special Relief Commissioner of the state today reviewed the cyclone preparedness in the north Odisha districts in Balasore.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">While, rescue and relief teams of NDRF and ODRAF are being deployed across the coastal districts, most likely to take the cyclonic blow, the North Odisha districts are ready with their respective evacuation plans and shelter management protocols.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In addition, Indian Airforce aircrafts, helicopters and ships of the Eastern Naval Command are also ready to mitigate the fury of the impending cyclone with provisions to provide succor to the citizens, likely to be impacted.</span><br />''  <br />
