Low intensity quake hits Odisha

In Odisha, mild tremors were felt at several places in Bolangir, Kalahandi and Nuapada districts at 1:45 pm today. Though there was no report of any casualty or major damage to property so far, but people came out of their houses out of fear. People say tremors lasted for about 3 to 5 seconds in their areas. According to Metrology department, Bhubaneswar sources, the tremor was measured at 3.9 on the Richter scale and the epicenter of the quake has been located in East Kalahandi.
