In Jammu & Kashmir, the Buddhist people all over Laddakh region, comprising of Leh and Kargil districts, are celebrating LOSAR (Laddakhi New Year) today with gaiety and religious fervour. The main function is being organised this morning at Chokhang Vihara in Leh city.<br/><br/>The first day of the eleventh month of Tibetan calendar is celebrated every year by Buddhists in Laddakh as New Year (LOSAR). People belonging to different religions and communities greet their Buddhist brothern and friends on the occasion of Losar.<br/>
