Putting an end to the controversry ,the Sports Minister Ajay Maken today left it to All India Tennis Association, AITA, to decide on final selection of team for London Olympics. Earlier he had pleaded to send two pairs to the compettion.Tennis association today stuck to its decision to send the pair of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi for London Olympics. Mr. Maken had taken the case with the association after Bhupathi and Bopanna wrote to Ajay Maken seeking his help in the matter.AITA has explained that the Bhupathi-Bopanna pair was never assured of an entry to the Olympics as a team by the sports body.
