Sports minister Ajay Maken today appealed to all the players to put country first while playing for Olympics this year. The sports minister appeal comes in wake of tennis row and the All India Tennis Association, AITA, decision to send two teams to represent India for tennis in the forthcoming Olympics. Briefing newspersons in New Delhi today Maken said players should think about national interest first and avoid personel differences for the country.Replying to a query about ongoing controvesry related the selection of tennis teams, he said that the sports ministry never interferes in the selection matters.
