All flights to and from London's City Airport were cancelled on Monday after an unexploded World War Two bomb was discovered in the River Thames at George V Dock. <br/><br/>In a statement, CEO of London City Airport, Robert Sinclair, said all flights in and out from the airport are cancelled for Monday and the airport authority is cooperating with the Police and Royal Navy to safely remove the device and resolve the situation as quickly as possible. <br/><br/>The Metropolitan Police said that properties within the exclusion zone had been evacuated, and that a number of road cordons were in place. <br/><br/>Police also said that the ordnance was found during pre-planned work at the airport early on Sunday.
