The Standing Committee looking into the Lokpal is likely to submit its draft report in Parliament within next three days. Parliamentary Standing Committee Chief Abhishek Manu Singhvi met the Chairman of Rajya Sabha Mohammad Hamid Ansari at his residence this morning.

Talking to reporters after the meeting Dr. Singhvi said that all subjects and sense of the house has been given due weightage in the report. Replying to questions regarding objections raised by the members of Team Anna, Dr. Singhvi said the report has not been prepared to please any organization or person. He said the panel has prepared the report which is the best in the national interest.

Dr. Singhvi also said that no committee has prepared the report on such complex issues in such a short time.
