Lokpal Bill should be passed in current session: BJP

The BJP has demanded that the Lokpal Bill should be passed in the current session of Parliament which ends on Tuesday. Addressing a press conference in Mumbai party spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said four ministers from the government have met Opposition leaders on the Lokpal Bill issue. He said the BJP has given its suggestions and the party is ready to support them in Parliament. He said that a strong and effective Lokpal is necessary for a corruption-free government and to create fear among the corrupt.
