In Uttar Pradesh, the Lokayukta has initiated an inquiry against Energy Minister of Mayawati Government Ramveer Upadhyaya, his Member of Parliament wife Seema Upadhyaya and three other family members on fresh charges of amassing enormous wealth and threatening a police officer.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports, the Energy Minister is already facing an earlier probe by the Lokayukta on charges of embezzlement in purchase of electricity from private trading companies.The National Secretary of BJP Kirit Somaya has filed the compliant against him in this regard.
