The final report on illegal mining will be submitted by Karnataka Lokayukta Registrar to Chief Secretary today in Bangalore. The contents of the report, leaked to the media, have already generated a political storm with indicting of Chief Minister Yeddyurappa, four of his Cabinet colleagues, besides more than 600 officials for their role in illegal mining. The Lokayukta is said to contain details of the raids conducted by the Income Tax department on mining companies and its owners.
