Lok Sabha to take up Finance Bill

The Lok Sabha will take up for discussion Finance Bill this afternoon. The discussion takes place after the House passed the demands for grants for several Ministries through guillotine rejecting the cut motions moved by the Opposition. After the passage of the Bill, the Lok Sabha will complete the financial business. <br/><br/>The government is likely to bring nuclear liability bill in the current session to give it to Parliamentary Standing Committee for further discussions. The passage of this bill will enable the government to have nuclear commerce with the international community. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that it is not yet clear whether the Women's Reservation Bill providing 33 per cent reservation to women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies will come for consideration or not. The Rajya Sabha has already passed historic bill in the first half of the Budget Session. <br/>
