<span style="color: #222222;">Lok Sabha has taken up discussion on the Supplementary Demands for Grants&nbsp;of 2.35 lakh crores for&nbsp;2020-21 and Demand for Excess Grants for 2016-17.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Taking part in the discussion, BJP MP Jayant Sinha said in the supplementary demands, various allocations have been made to boost the financial sector.&nbsp;He said funds are also being allocated for the benefit of MSMEs, thereby protecting employment. He added that 250 crore rupees has been allocated for those with distressed assets. <br />''<br />''Talking about MNREGA, Mr Sinha said an extra 40,000 crore rupees has been given, apart from the 60,000 crore rupees. He pointed out that while 6 crore people were earlier working under MNREGA, it is now 2 crore, as the economy is improving.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Participating in the discussion, Leader of Congress Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary sought to know from the government how they planned to achieve the target of 5 trillion economy.
