Economic reforms, tapping demographic dividends, good governance and encouragement to innovation has provided India an edge over others.<br />''<br />''Sudip Bandyopadhyay of AITC pointed out that the allocation to the Ministry of Commerce and Industries is insufficient to promote industrial growth and generate sufficient employment. He wanted to know from the Minister for Commerce and Industry whether platforms like BRICS are used to push investments.<br />''<br />''He objected to the decision of the Government to divest the public sector enterprises in the country. P V Midhun Reddy of YSRCP said the budgetary allocation to the ministry is not sufficient to complete 14 industrial corridors under construction.<br />''<br />''Allocations made to the leather sector also he said are not sufficient. Unhappy over the progress made in SEZ, he said that 268 SEZs are still not fully operational. He suggested that MSMEs and Agriculture sector should get further encouragement to generate sufficient employment.</span><br />
