Lok Sabha pays glowing tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar on Constitution day

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan today paid glowing tributes to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar who was the chairman of the drafting committee of the Constitution. She said the Constitution is the Holy book of our country. Mrs Mahajan said the House will debate for two days on commitment to India's Constitution as part of 125th birth anniversary celebration of Dr B R Ambedkar. Quoting Ambedkar, the Speaker said the constitution is flexible and it is strong enough to hold the country together both in peace time and in war time. Home minister Rajnath Singh initiated the discussion.
