The Lok Sabha today mourned the loss of the large number of lives and livestock in the devastating floods in Odisha during September and October this year.

The Speaker, Mrs. Meira Kumar expressed profound sorrow on the natural calamity leading to the sufferings of the people.

Later, the members stood in silence for a short while as a mark of respect to the memory of the departed.
