The Lok Sabha was assured today that foolproof security exists at all nuclear power plants across the country. They are fully secure against cyber intrusions and external aggression. Answering supplementaries, Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office Jitendra Singh said in every nuclear power plant safety comes first and production later. All of them are guarded by specialized groups, kept ready by mock drills. <br/><br/>In the event of any untoward happening, the plants will automatically shut down. In reply to another question, the Minister assured the House that the country's monazite reserves are absolutely secure from poaching. The satellites keep an eye on every suspicious activity, he said.
