The Lok Sabha on Thursday passed the demands for grants for Railways for the current fiscal by a voice vote. Replying to the discussion on the subject, Railway Minister Mukul Roy said, he will take forward the Vision 2020 of the then Railway minister Mamta Banerjee and strive for ensuring inclusive growth.

Mr. Roy said, the economic health of the railways will be further strengthened by achieving higher growth and asset creation. The Minister said, safety has been given thrust by the Railways. The unmanned railway crossings will be eliminated in a time.
