The alleged deterioration in law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh led to adjournment of the Lok Sabha twice till noon. The House was first adjourned for 20 minutes and later till 12 noon. After making an obituary reference to Arjun Singh, some Samajbadi party members trooped into the well of the House demanding dismissal of the Uttar Pradesh government on the issue. Shouting slogans SP members complained against the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh. They alleged the movement of the SP members is being restricted and a curfew-like situation prevails in the state. 4Responding to this the Leader of the House and Finance Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee said that he has asked the Home Minister to ascertain the facts. Mr Mukherjee said the government will inform the house after getting the facts by this evening.
