The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2PM amidst continuous uproar. As soon as the House met for the day, the Congress-led opposition members trooped into the well demanding the resignation of External Affairs Minister on the Lalit Modi controversy. Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said discussion would take place in the House only after, what he called, the resignation of tainted ministers. Amid the din, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan proceeded with the Question Hour. As the members kept shouting, She adjourned the House after the Question Hour was over at noon.
