The issue of hiking the salary of MPs echoed in both the Houses of Parliament today. While the Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 2 PM, the question hour in the Rajya Sabha was disrupted after the members raised the issue. The Finance Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee assured the members that the Joint Committee report on the subject is under consideration and a decision will be taken soon. In the Lok Sabha, the issue was raised immediately after the question hour with RJD members supported by others seeking immediate hike in their salaries. This led to noisy scenes forcing the adjournment of the house.
