The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 11.40 a.m. over the protest by the Congress members. As soon as the House met for the day, Congress members demanded action against the BJP member Virendra Singh for his remarks against senior Congress leaders yesterday. Speaker Sumitra Mahajan assured the Opposition that the remarks have been expunged from the proceedings. Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge demanded strong action against the BJP member for his objectionable remarks.<br/><br/>Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu raised the issue that some Congress members have thrown papers on the Chair yesterday. Mr. Naidu demanded action against the Congress member. As the House took up the question hour, Congress members again rushed to the well forcing its adjournment till 11.40 a.m.
