The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day over uproar by Congress members. As soon as the House reassembled at 3 PM, the Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia raised the issue of levelling allegations against him by three BJP MPs about alleged discrimination against dalits. <br/><br/>Mr Scindia termed the allegations as baseless and an attempt to tarnish his public image built during last 15 years of his public life. He said, if the allegation made against him is found true then he is ready to resign from the House. <br/><br/>Mr Scindia said otherwise all there members; namely, Virendra Kumar, Manohar Utawal and Nand Kumar Chauhan must be asked to resign and tender apology. Mr Scindia faced strong opposition from the treasury benches. <br/><br/>Mr Scindia and his party members trooped into the well and heated exchanges of words took place between Congress members and members from ruling parties. Speaker of the House Sumitra Mahajan intervened and tried to pacify the agitating members and sought their cooperation to conduct listed business. <br/><br/>Congress MP Mallikarjun Kharge also expressed concern over the charges leveled against Scindia and said it is not porper to tarnish the image of a young leader. <br/><br/>Responding to Mr Kharge's allegation, Mr Kumar said, the government is willing to run the House properly with the cooperation of all and ready to discuss any issue. <br/><br/>He said, the Congress has no moral right to teach lessions to the NDA on Parliamentary democracy. Amidst the ruckus, Human Resource Development Minister Pakash Javadekar moved the Indian Institutes of Information Technology ( Amendment) bill,2017 in the House. <br/><br/>The Congress members did not allow the Minister to speak on the bill and trooped into the well raising slogans. Amidst the uproarious scene, the Speaker adjourned the House for the day.
