Lok Sabha has been adjourned for the day while Rajya Sabha till 2 pm on different issues including bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, action against retired justice AK Ganguly and closure of relief camps in Muzaffarnagar and other riot hit districts in Uttar Pradesh.
As soon as the Lok Sabha met for the day, members from various parties trooped into the well raising slogans against Telangana issue, arrest of Tamil fishermen by Sri Lankan Navy and other issues. Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House amidst the din.
In the Rajya Sabha, BSP members rushed to the well of the House raising slogans against the closure of relief camps in Muzaffarnagar and other trouble-torn districts.
The party had given an adjournment motion for suspension of question hour on the issue. TMC members were on their feet demanding the sacking of the West Bengal Human Rights Commission Chairman, retired Justice AK Ganguly.
Members from Andhra Pradesh trooped into the well in support of their demand for United Andhra Pradesh.
Tamil Nadu members also rushed to the well of the House demanding the release of Tamil fishermen.
Chairman Mohd. Hamid Ansari said that he had received notices from members for the suspension of the Question Hour.
He adjourned the House till noon as noisy scenes continued.
