Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day due to lack of quorum. When the discussion on motion of thanks to President's address was going on, the issue of quorum was raised around 8.35 PM due to which the presiding officer P Venugopal had to halt the proceedings of the house and waited for the presence of required members. Finally due to lack of quorum, he had to adjourned the house for the day. The presence of at least 10 per cent of the total strength of House or about 55 members makes the quorum.
